Frequently asked questions
The same professional foot care services available in clinic can also be provided during a home visit. This includes routine foot care, nail cutting, hard skin and corn care, foot health assessments and ongoing maintenance to help keep your feet healthy and comfortable. Every home foot care appointment is carried out to the same professional standards as a clinic appointment. I bring sterilised equipment and everything needed to provide safe, hygienic and personalised foot care in the comfort of your own home.
You can book your home foot care appointment online through the Comfort Footcare IOW website or get in touch directly if you have any questions. If needed, I may contact you to adjust the appointment time slightly so it can be coordinated with other visits in your area, this would be with your agreement.
Choosing the right foot care service involves considering your specific needs, the qualifications and experience of the practitioner, and the range of services offered. At Comfort Footcare IOW, I provide a thorough assessment to tailor your treatment to your individual requirements, ensuring you receive the best possible care. I am happy to discuss your needs before your appointment to make sure you choose the right service, just give me a call.
Preventing common foot problems involves maintaining good foot hygiene, wearing properly fitting shoes, and addressing any issues early. Regular check-ups with a foot care professional can also help catch and treat problems before they become serious. At Comfort Footcare IOW, I offer advice and treatments to keep your feet healthy.
There is very little you need to do. I just suggest wearing comfortable shoes and, if possible, avoiding nail varnish so I can take a good look at your feet. If you have any questions or a medical history to share, please bring that along too. You might want to bring some clean socks to put on after your appointment so your feet stay nice and fresh.
